Krups 326-75 10-Cup Stainless Steel Thermal Carafe

worth the price
My old carafe had broken, and I was looking for a replacement. This was the only one available and in stock. Although I thought it was a little expensive, I love my Krups coffee maker and really needed a new carafe, so I went ahead and ordered it. It certainly was worth the price. The coffee stays pretty warm for quite a while! This carafe is better than the one that came with the coffee maker and was worth every penny I paid for it.

Received 2. Both Leak from the top.
I received two of these for Christmas. I tried them both. Both leaked liquid from 3 different spots when turned to pour. Also, the plastic tops had touches of gray, worn-looking plastic on them. I returned them both and bought 2 of the Zojirushi Champagne Gold Series Tall Thermal Carafe, Herb Cacao Carafes instead, which work great.

Useful but klunky
Keeps coffee at the perfect temperature for a few hours, which is great. But the "lid" is difficult to screw on, and over time (less than a year) the handle becomes loose. The product documentation doesn't tell you how to tighten it, but you can figure it out: there is an outer sleeve on the handle that can be pried and slid off to access the tightening screws. After time, this component cracks and splits, which is why I'm looking for a new one sometime soon.

Overall, the coffee maker is pretty good.
