Full of useful features, great for making 2 mugs
I drink tea at least once a day, so I searched a lot of sites online to find a kettle that I could use while having a toddler underfoot. I love everything about this kettle.
It has a hinged lid that opens wide, so you can easily fill it with water, but also locks closed and has a spout that doesn't spill water unless you fill it past the max fill line. It has a nice clear window with dark lines, so you can easily see how full the kettle is. Its lowest fill line is 3 cups. However because a cup is 8oz and most mugs are 12oz or more, it fills about two mugs at its lowest fill line. It boils water incredibly quickly. It takes about a minute for 3 cups. It makes a soft satisfying click sound when it's done, which you can easily hear if my toddler's not shrieking. It's relatively light and lifts easily off its base. It has a big well-designed handle, which always stays cool to the touch, so it's easy to handle. For an applicance, it's relatively stylish.
VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE...
The Krups kettle looks like a modern version of "I'm a little teapot!" I have been very happy with it and ordered it in black to match my Krups coffee pot. It heats quickly and makes a "click" cut off noise after bringing the water to a rolling boil. I also like the cordless portability this pot has by being able to remove it easily off the base.
