Best Goblets, EVER.
I have been using these goblets since the Fall of 2002. Their performance is beyond industry standards. They are very sturdy and create an exquiste sound when a bottle cap bounces off the rim. The wide mouth design and capacity for 17-ounces of pure enjoyment; enables customers to consume a larger amount of liquids than other goblets on the market.
Other known advantages:
Dishwasher safe.
Made in the U.S. of A.
These are Gamma Chapter Sanctioned Goblets for use in Caps.
Official Goblet of the PCA (Lambda Phi Epsilon Certified)
These Goblets are second to none. Professionally crafted to withstand accidental n00b/girl drunken knock overs. However, breaking may occur during the most extreme Cookie Monster situations.
The beautiful sound it makes whenever a bink or a splash occurs is comparable only to the voice of Celine Dion.
The size is perfect for 12 oz Natural Lites and leaves just enough room for the sloppy pourers who manifest foam at the top.
Even if you are on the losing team, these goblets are so fashion friendly that slow drinkers can hang onto them while they chat it up with friends....until the next game.
Also recommended:
- 24 pack of Natural Lites
- 6 pack of New Castle (For the Bottle Caps -Perfect weight and aerodynamics)
- Measuring Tape (8 Feet is recommended distance of the PCA)
- 2 Plastic Trays (Borrow from McDonalds, Taco Bell, any fine fast food establishments)
- 2 Shot Glasses (In case a skunk occurs)
Don't look too closely at these glasses!
I gave these a low rating solely because of manufacturing defects such as a bubble on the rim that looks like a chip and rims that either bulge or have flat spots. As long as you don't look too closely, you might not notice these defects, but at close to $4 a glass, they should have nice round rims typical of virtually all glassware. I might have missed the irregular shapes, but when I saw the bubble, I examined the glasses and discovered quality that should not be part of even a $1 glass.
Amazon did replace them promptly, but the second case had problems with the rims as well. I had these glasses on my want list for a long time, so I decided to pick the best 12 out of the two cases and wound up with three of lesser quality. Again amazon offered to replace those, but I just gave up. There were no other pedestal glasses that I liked, and I had already disposed of my older glasses to make room for these.
I am surprised at the "seconds" quality of these...
