Better than a regular detergent!
It does work as claimed, but when it's too much of it, it still leaves residue. I normally use Cascade and the principle is the same: too much of it per load and you end up with cloudy spots. So, you need to experiment with your dishwasher. I was able to get my glasses spotless using this stuff, but the load is different every time, so I'm still searching for the right ratio.
Oh, it also works with other tableware, not just glasses. I just feel it is too expensive to use it on something other than stemware, where Cascade would do the job. So I wash just stemware periodically (once a month or so) with this good stuff. It lasts forever this way. Overall, I do recommend this product.
Very Expensive and not worth it.
It doesn't take off soap/scum etched on glasses in any combination or level of powder. It does work on glasses that are clear already.
Awesome Cleaner
I placed my mother's heirloom crystal in the dishwasher (no piece should touch each other) and followed the directions. No spots and sparkling clean! Cleaning the entire collection required several loads. The result was so much better than washing each item by hand.
