Understated, sturdy, inexpensive.
This set works great for me, and it's not as gaudy or flower-centric as the others. I actually dropped the larger plate onto my linoleum kitchen floor, and it didn't even chip. YMMV, of course. Pick it up for the bachelor in your life.
